Honey Club Demolition, West Parade, Rhyl

Balfour Beatty

The project consisted of the demolition of a former night club and neighbouring buildings on the busy Rhyl seafront.

Demolition was a mixture of mechanical demolition and hand demolition to the front of the building that faced the sea and promenade. PBM had to work closely with the local council (Denbighshire County Council) and local businesses throughout this high profile demolition project. We returned to site in July 2014 to carry out the demolition of burnt out structures next to the old Honey Club site.

Work included:

  • Site set up including fencing, hoarding and welfare
  • PBM acted as principal contractor
  • Management of notifiable asbestos removal
  • Non-notifiable asbestos removal
  • Demolition
  • Hand demolition
  • Site clearance
  • Crushing
